I was born in 1989 in Bologna where I live and work. I have started drawing when I was very young and, growing up, I have become more interested in fairy tales and the world of children’s literature. This was due to stories of writers such as Roald Dahl, Gianni Rodari, Bianca Pitzorno and Jill Barklem, but above all, I have developed a passion about illustrations that accompany texts in those stories. I enrolled then in Art School and I graduated in Comics and Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, turning my passion into a profession.
I work for Italian and American children’s publishers and I collaborate in several projects organized by public and private associations. I like create art workshops for children, that I develop in libraries, bookstores and primary schools with the intention of approaching the little ones (readers and not) to the world of art and illustration as narrative, through personal projects and reading-games of the main today’s books authors.
